About My Character: Rokuro is a page of the Sengoku era, sworn to Yukimura Sanada specifically. He's spent a lifetime babysitting a grown-ass man 24/7, from combing his hair and dressing him, to ensuring he eats his vegetables and doesn't catch an STD from the friendly neighbourhood whore-house. Rokuro was literally born into his position and his entire life has been managing the life of someone else. He's like a parent who lost all sense of personal identity after having a baby, except the baby is ten years older than him and has a drinking problem.
In his spare time he likes to clean, micromanage lesser house servants, make tea, watch people as they drink said tea for any hint of emotions on their faces because he's dead inside without external validation, and read. With his one eye. Because he gouged the other one out rather than let someone take it and use the power it stored against his master. As one does.
CR I'm Looking For: Rokuro is nothing without people to fuss over, and making some friends who aren't fellow retainers of his master would be new and terrifying, especially if they cared about him as a person and not simply as an extension of his master.
He's very tightly wound for someone who walks around with 50% of their ass hanging out at any given time, and has literally no idea what to do with himself now that he's just... himself, and not the right hand of his beloved master. It's likely he'll be wandering around performing domestic tasks for anyone who will let him, or doesn't specifically stop him.
Plots I'm Looking For: I'm open to pretty much everything, but I'm always on my found family bullshit. Meeting someone who can help him safely harness the power that keeps on nearly killing him would be rad too.
Character Arc Ideas: Becoming independent, learning to live for himself, and maybe even finding a person who will reciprocate his (incredibly unhealthy) tendency towards body and soul devotion.
Other: Nobody else has heard of this manga and honestly it's not that great, but if you want to be enabled into something with a lot of hot ninja being hot at each other all the, plus multiple LGBTQ+ characters, then I am here for you.

I've never watched this but I will squee about Sengoku-era things. The extent of my RPing in that relation has been Masamune Date from Sengoku Basara although that was eons ago.

CR I'm Looking For: Any?! Codi's getting her feet under her and will be seeking out people that have "useful skills," but considering the circumstances, I think she's going to be spoiled for choice.
More specifically and long-term, Codi is aligned with Tian, so, learning magic! Codi doesn't think she has the patience to do this and will be looking for a more level-headed study partner.

Manipulative, observational bosses who are both learning magic here, you say? I have Sarah focusing on the tether thing as a priority as well, because not doing so makes you weaker and eventually dead, and doing so makes you more powerful as well as the obvious bonus of "the more you know, the more you have to work with, and the more influence you have here" perspective. She will also be obsessive about learning this new magic, since she lost her, despite having been a heckin' powerful witch before waking up in le Broken World. Thanks for adding me on Plurk! :D

Formerly part of the Galactic Army of the Republic, he and his squad have since parted ways with the formation of the Galactic Empire. It's been an interesting time for them as they try to feel their way around and try to find a life outside of the military.

About My Character:
Sunstreaker's the living representation of driver with one of those asshole vanity plates that say NUMBR1. Usually he's 35 feet tall, but in game he's going to be 12 feet standard just for the sake of making it easier for him to move around. He thinks he's the best, tells people he's the best, but is actually less obnoxious about it than he used to be in the past! He's grumpy, doesn't make friends easily, and looks out for himself first. Please do not get your organic matter all over his plating he doesn't want to have to buff it out.
He's also very skilled at war, having been fighting a civil war for the last four million years, so. He does not trust humans or really most organics, is kind of an ass about them, really, but again, not as bad as he once was. Really when you see what a jerk he is, remember he was like 100x worse just 10 years ago. Yeah.
He's also interested in the arts, especially painting, knows how to make/design his own video games, and is trying to figure out his own life now that war is over and peace is somehow just as messy. He's tired of war, but also does not know how to not start shit, because fighting is what he's good at. He's hard to make friends with, but once he is your friend he is very loyal and will throw down for you in a second.
His acquired ability in game will be Shapeshifting, so he'll be changing himself into a lot of different things inorganic and organic (at least organic-looking). This will allow him to disguise himself to fit in and also to make things more interesting because he can shapeshift into anything as long as he is familiar with it (for a time limit). So yeah, he's still turning into a Lamborghini and will have a human disguise.
CR I'm Looking For: ANY CR. I want 'Streaker to make friends, even though he insists he doesn't need more friends
Plots I'm Looking For: I'm open to anything really right now. His superpower does give him some flexibility but he's a jerk so you know, gotta logic or sweet talk him into not being a jerk and working nicely with others. Or someone who can out asshole him.
Character Arc Ideas: He's considering being stripped from the chip, but once he realized his ability provides him similar assets to his standard abilities he'll be willing to hold off for a bit. The stealth benefits are valid, okay. I really want to push him out there early so that he can file off all that Edge and be more accepting.
Other: As a note, his human disguise is a canonically a human female and the most recent one he's been using I've picked his PB as Michelle Rodriguez. With the shapeshifting he'll be using the same disguise because he's familiar with it and wouldn't bother changing it to someone else.
SUNSTREAKER +_+ I confess I am most familiar with G1 version, but I've heard IDW-ver hasn't had the greatest time...although I guess that could go for a lot of them. But I will always love me some Transformers. I look forward to having these two meet. Tech acts more like a robot than an organic anyway, lol.

Character Arc Ideas: I'm really interested in Harley bonding with people long-term. She makes friends very quickly, and bonds quickly with people to the point she'd die for them (or at least kill for them) but she's not used to people sticking around. Dealing with maintaining friendships and other relationships is going to be a fun arc to deal with for Harley.

Canon Point: Postcanon/end of episode 26 (which won't be postcanon much longer since the sequel movie comes out on DVD in like a month and a half but hey)
Age: Mikumo's a clone with some extra tweaks, so she's physically and mentally equivalent to a 20 year old, but she's actually 3 and sometimes makes deadpan jokes about it once people find out.
About My Character: Mikumo is the lead singer of Walkure, a "tactical sound unit" (welcome to Macross) whose songs have a special property that soothe Var Syndrome, a sudden-onset condition that drives people into berserk, violent rages and can end in entire cities killing each other or dying from the burnout in worst case scenarios. Mikumo happens to be an artificial human literally designed for this position, but also a clone of an ancient priestess called the Star Singer who had ungodly broken music powers that could turn entire galaxies into a singular hive mind with the right relics to amplify her voice. She comes fresh off the back of being taken captive by the Windermerean royal family, who happened to have the Star Singer's command phrase since she was originally left to their ancestors, being used to kill a fleet of tens of thousands of space army soldiers via song brainwashing and having them detonate their weapons on themselves, and then almost turning the galaxy into a hive mind before Walkure and Delta Flight (the fighter pilot squad that accompany them) saved her. So that's fun.
CR I'm Looking For: Pretty much anything, Mikumo needs friends because pretty much her only friends in canon are through work so making them again is going to be An Adventure. Given that, people who are fairly easy to befriend are always helpful, and she'll get on well with battlefield types.
Plots I'm Looking For: Mikumo eventually getting close enough to people to reveal the artificial human thing or people sussing out something weird about her because she'll say she has no memories beyond the last 3 years before she admits it to anyone. Also her figuring out her new powers since all her old ones came baked in so she's going to need some time to get on top of those.
Character Arc Ideas: Mikumo comes from a bit of a turning point in canon as far as discovering her identity goes - she was very focused on work and professional stuff initially, but starts to lighten up and bond more with her bandmates towards the end of canon. I intend to continue that and give her a chance to explore more of what her identity is outside of work things here, and also in isolation from the Star Singer identity since she'll be Chipped for a while and won't have access to her powers.

He's not a clone. (They never though to ret-con that in at least) But he is a kid who's been weaponized pretty much since infancy. So he can kinda understand the whole "So I'm totally created for a purpose" thing, because it's effectively him as well.

About My Character: He's an embittered, angry guy on a revenge spree against the world because everyone thinks he's cursed and has wanted him dead from birth, and he thinks the person he loved betrayed him. He's also a catboy from a fantasy future after all the humans are dead! Nyaaa.
Leaks is hateful enough that the only pleasure he seems to get is from the harm he can cause, so he's kind of an imperious, smug, relentless jerk at the moment. Just the worst version of himself, all the time. However, he's also going to be dealing with the return of his ability to feel positive emotions after 18 years or so of successfully sequestering them far away; he hasn't realised it's happening yet, but by the end of the first successful mission, he almost certainly will.
CR I'm Looking For:
Honestly if you have a character who's willing to put up with him, I'd like to play with them, damn. :(
He's incredibly mean and mercenary, but I'd like to make him accessible/easy to play off and be engaging despite his hostility. Negative or positive CR is lovely. People who feel like they can get him to open up a bit or relax, people who would rub him the wrong way or vice versa, people who would absolutely start shit with him, I'm honestly completely open. I know he's going to be a rocky character to play at first and to find CR for, and I don't want to be exhausting! Between his emotions returning and being forced to open up for his own survival, I'd really like him to progress as a character while he's here. If anyone doesn't mind putting up with all of his bullshit and can see some use in him, I'd love for him to get some interaction out of this and engage with others.

About My Character: The five second version is, Ezra is a 18 year old Jedi in training who spent the last 4 years fighting the Empire.
The longer version is Ezra is a bundle of contradictions. He's a kid who definitely shows some blatant traits of anxiety, but he's also capable of incredibly bravery. He was a loner who literally hung out in the grasslands raising himself for nearly half his life, but at his best, he's the friendliest guy who is a community making *machine*. He can be brash, angry, direct, stubborn, but also quiet, secretive, thoughtful and compassionate. He loves his family, (both by birth and informal adoption) so much, but he's let them go and walked away from them, for the greater good. At his canon point, he just sacrified himself, or at least his ability to be with his family, on his homeworld, to free them Imperial occupation.
Basically, if you see him swinging wildly in how approaches people depending on what he gets from him, that's completely on purpose and how he rolls.
CR I'm Looking For: I am not much for unrelenting negative CR that's never going to evolve. Otherwise, I'm down from pretty much anything! Ezra will be all for making friends and maybe even adopting more family.
Plots I'm Looking For: Anything, really! I love letting plot happen organically, and am also delighted to enable people. I mentioned to the mod that if/ (probably) when Ezra is unchipped, to feel free to hit Ezra with vision or other Force nonsense. That also goes for player plots! I mean, don't like, mind control him or kill him without my approval please, but I am generally down stuff being dumped into his head.
Character Arc Ideas: Ezra has training as both a Jedi and a soldier - and yet Jedi are not traditionally meant to be soldiers, but diplomats, peacekeepers, healers and other sort of helpers that use violence as a last resort. Ezra has wrestled with this contradiction some in his canon and says that the Force isn't a weapon. But ultimately, it's not something he could entirely come to terms with while the galaxy was being ruled by a Sith Lord. That dude just Gotta Go.
Here the situation will be different and I have no idea how that going to play out! With what little the player characters know, the Sylphid seem the sort of evil that Ezra won't be able to abide, even if a way to get home weren't possible on the table.
But still the question will linger - what's the best way to help people here? And if he chooses to fight, what's the best way to fight?

Second is her feeling of belonging; that's very difficult for her to establish.

The scary shell around his softer side is pretty thin, though, so we'll see how easily it breaks in this environment.
CR I'm Looking For: Anything, honestly. He's not good at making friends so negative is totally fine, but also I would be happy to see him genuinely bond with anyone beyond just Rey.
Plots I'm Looking For: For the beginning, mostly just him not dealing well with having his powers missing. I really am stretching in saying that he won't be *immediately* getting rid of the chip, but I think I can buy a few days of him considering if the infiltration potential is worth it because he also wants to just get home. So if anyone wants to sneak up on him while he lacks ability to just sense people there and get a really bad reaction, probably in the form of him kneejerk trying to do something like a force choke that also doesn't work, please let me know because I think it would be funny.

To get back on topic: I've been RPing since 2009, I think. Right when things were starting to move over from LJ to DW. I'm a bit self-conscious about my writing, but I'm aiming to improve and eventually (hopefully) be able to refer to it as a legitimate skill. I'm obsessed with Mass Effect. I've played the trilogy and Andromeda an embarrassing amount of times, so writing for Shepard will be such a treat for me.

Canon Point: Right at the end when she sacrifices herself, so she's having yet another shot at life (she already died once before lmao this cockroach).

Commander Shepard is described by many as a charismatic leader who can get anyone to follow her into hell itself. She has a way of getting the job done, no matter how seemingly impossible. She's brave, tough, and resolute yet suprisingly open-minded. Shepard has a preference for settling matters peacefully and resorts to violence only when absolutely necessary (e.g., self defense).

CR I'm Looking For: I'd like her to form some strong character relationships whether good, bad, or ugly. She is a question-asker and thrives on getting to know people for who they are and what they value.
Plots I'm Looking For: I'm not entirely sure yet! I'm more of a character-driven writer and enjoy adapting my writing/character to the plot and setting at hand. CR will be first. The rest will flow, perhaps in surprising ways.
Character Arc Ideas: TBA! I'm looking forward to discovering this.
Other: The Mass Effect trilogy spent most of its budget on storytelling and character development... not so much on graphics. It's one of the best games I've ever played, but certainly not the prettiest (except for the space battle scenes, those are A+). I looked for a PB (which is honestly a fun task for me to do) and decided on Denise Richards for some reason. I haven't seen her be used as a PB before, so I figured why not.
