About Me: Um... IDK what to put here. New to actually being in a game. Canon Point: Her universe's 2008 (November), ten years before the alien takeover of her planet begins in earnest

About My Character: Li was stolen from her family when she was seven and trained to become an assassin by an alien race called the Inchoate, who plan to take over Earth through decades of causing global unrest, assassinating political figures who might create peace/stabilize countries, finding humans willing to betray their species and sell them out, and planting human-Inchoate hybrids in political office if they're human passing. Since Li is not human passing (note the red eyes), she has had her memories wiped through a combination of technology and conditioning (torture), trained in combat and trained to take orders from her handler that she physically cannot refuse (attempting to makes her ill). Forcibly renamed, relocated and reprogrammed, Li has once relatively recently begun to redevelop a sense of personhood and free will. She wants to find her family again one day, but her bigger driving goal is stopping the Inchoate from taking over the planet. Freedom is everything to her - both hers, and the freedom of all people on Earth's - and she'll fight for it when it comes down to it. No one else should go through what she did.
Tethering Information/Requests: Considering she is very uncertain of herself in non-combat contexts and struggles to do normal conversations, she'll set up a profile for this and be lost on how to proceed past that. She needs a Tether, and she's smart enough not to want to procrastinate on this, but she also lacks any idea how to get one. She might just offer to someone she doesn't know relatively well out of courtesy if they need one.
CR I'm Looking For: Friends her own age, friends older than her, combat buddies, a mentor figure/someone older than her who knows what they're doing or has been here longer, people who are anywhere from mildly to deeply horrified by her murderous tendencies and combat proficiency at the age of fifteen, awkward people who she doesn't realize are awkward due to her own lack of social skills, and anything else you want to throw at me. I'm here for character growth as much as badass missions.
Plots I'm Looking For: Somebody bring Li along on missions so she can murder and maim her way to victory. She's not great at taking the lead but she's excellent backup. Would also be interesting to take that tendency of hers to take orders without much questioning and her total disregard for her own safety and combine that, putting her in situations where she's over her head.
Character Arc Ideas: Her entire existence is a slow ongoing arc from viewing herself as not-quite-a-person/a Creature (her classification back home) to having some sense of self and confidence, going from viewing killing as just an option that gets the mission accomplished to getting some sense of life being precious and murder being a big deal, and coming up with some idea of what she wants to do beyond stopping the takeover of Earth (again, self-actualization as the goal).
