Definitely! Sharing tethers with Luke means that Link will probably get dragged into Skywalker nonsense sooner or later, which means Rey will probably adopt him as one of her people if they get along at all.

So far Link has somehow remained blissfully unaware of all Skywalker drama! He just thinks Vader is a boring old guy in a much more interesting suit, and Kylo Ren is maybe a bit dodgy for mind controlling people.

He's probably going to be horribly confused when he eventually does get dragged into it all, haha
