Tagging Speed/Preferences: Depends! You might get a couple tags per day or just a few a week. I’ve been having some health issues due to long-COVID lately that can make my energy levels a bit spotty, but I usually try to spend at least a little bit of time each day tagging.
As for my partners, I’m fine with most tagging speeds, though I might ask to handwave the outcome of a thread if I have other plans contingent on it.
About Me: I’m a 27 y.o English teacher living in Taiwan. I love insects, robots, and putting waaay too much thought into rather niche topics—such as this guy right here! Aside from RP, I also enjoy drawing, playing video games, going on nature walks, and watching documentaries.
Character Name: Boba Fett

Canon Point: 11-12 BBY, during his imprisonment on Concord Dawn
Age: 18 years old

About My Character: Boba Fett is the cloned son of bounty hunter Jango Fett. At ten years old, he watched his father get decapitated in battle and then spent several years on the run from both sides of a galactic war due to the intel he possessed. Soon after, he found some semblance of stability in the court of Jabba the Hutt, where he worked as a hired gun up to the age of 16. At this point, he began having doubts about the whole “murdering people for money at the behest of psychopaths” lifestyle and thus attempted to leave the business along with another teenage bounty hunter by fleeing to the planet Concord Dawn with her. There, they tried to lead relatively normal lives, with Boba finding work with the Journeyman Protectors—Mandalorian frontier lawmen—but unfortunately, Shit Happened and Boba ended up thrown in prison for murdering his superior officer for… reasons. Which he then refused to divulge. Which only made things worse for him in prison.
With his would-be redemption arc having blown up in his face, Boba at this point concludes that he’s simply an antisocial murderous asshole by nature and pretending otherwise will only ever backfire. So forget all that peace and connection crap, it’s time to burn all those bridges and start fresh with some unhinged murder, baby!
And then he shows up here :/ Talk about inconvenient timing.
Tethering Information/Requests: Boba just got here, so he has no Tethers as of yet. However, given the nature of recent events in his canon, he’ll be very reluctant to form any new connections with anyone, so… there’s every possibility he won’t Tether until being Untethered starts actively making him sick.
Whenever he does Tether with someone, they’ll probably have to be a Tian—so it’s just as well he’ll be holding out as I hear those are in short supply these days :,)
CR I'm Looking For: He just got here, so I’m open to pretty much anything! Positive CR would be especially loved, though full disclosure that, again, Boba is very wary about connecting with others and it’ll likely be a while before he’s ready to even refer to anyone as a friend. But if you’re into that kind of slowburn CR building, then let’s plot something out! Friends are great, as are mentors; I’d love for someone to try to take this kid under their wing only for his suspicion levels to rocket up tenfold when he realizes that’s what they’re trying to do.
Enemies are also welcome, of course, and will probably be much easier for him to make. He has strong opinions about things and has been raised to view violence as a primary means of problem-solving, so you can imagine that he has trouble playing nicely with others.
Plots I'm Looking For: Boba just got here, so he’ll probably spend the next while settling in and learning how things work here. I’m definitely open to veterans showing him the ropes! Boba’s specialty is tracking, piloting, and combat, so if anyone can direct him to using those in a productive (or destructive, I ain’t picky) manner, that’d also be great.
Character Arc Ideas: Help me derail his whole villain arc, please. I want this kid to have friends and positive experiences and I want it to happen in fewer than 50 years, which is how long it takes him in canon. Like, don’t get me wrong, I love to read about old man Boba Fett regretting his life choices and fumbling his way towards fixing them with a below 0 charisma score but like. I want it now. In a jamjar :D
Other: 1. I’m still sorting out Boba’s icons, so they’ll be a little in flux for the next couple of weeks or so. 2. Though he won’t discuss it unless supernaturally compelled to do so, Boba’s backstory does heavily feature an instance of sexual assault and its aftermath. More likely to be mentioned is Boba’s extreme dislike and mistrust of drug and alcohol abuse. If you would like me to completely avoid either topic in our threads or if you’d like to opt-out of threading with Boba at all, feel free to either PM me or leave an automatically-screened comment on his permission’s post here.

I think in the beginning some of it will probably depend on how open Luke is about his Jedi-ness. Though, as much as Boba hates the Jedi, he's more worried about the Sylphid at the moment, so even if he knows, team-ups could still potentially happen!

Luke isn't a Jedi :^D. He's barely even a Padawan. But he's learning from Jedi. And if pressed would mention it. Though... now that he's got his dad's lightsaber back the question is how often is he wearing it. Which is probably often now that I think about it. So he might not have to say anything. Hm.
