About My Character: The former avatar of Khonshu, supposedly having given up the superhero life after saving the world from Ammit and her followers. They have DID are are two alters living in the same body-- three, counting Jake, who has not shown his face in-game yet but will eventually. They're coming from a life of childhood abuse, so Marc's riddled with PTSD and Steven, while not oblivious, is also kind of detached from it.

Tethering Information/Requests: Right now they're not interested in tethering with anyone but Layla. Eventually I'm open to adding some more people to that mix, but it'll take time.

CR I'm Looking For: People willing to put up with Marc's awkwardness and Steven's infodumping in order to actually become friends. Regular mission partners. Regular sparring and/or study partners. Marc in particular needs some love, because Steven at least actively tries to go talk to people, while Marc... does not.

Plots I'm Looking For: There's been some hints getting out that Steven and Marc are not what they seem, and like... one person for-sure knows they're a system! This is progress! Looking to bust that further open as time goes on. Also looking for situations to get Jake to show his face, which will probably be things like "intense danger" and "situations related to Marc's trauma" and maybe "somebody is working on a car".

Character Arc Ideas: Still working on trust and opening up with these boys. Well, mostly with Marc, as Steven is getting kind of sick of all the hiding and lying and would like to just be open, please. Steven is working on trying to work out his state of personhood after learning he's part of a whole, and not what he considers "the original". They're both adapting to a brand new tether with Layla as of like two weeks ago.

Other: The subject of Marc's childhood abuse will most likely never come up in conversation because he avoids even thinking about it, and at most will be alluded to in narration, but if you want me to avoid it even further just let me know.

I'm about to crash because I work nights, which actually means that I'm generally up for your time zone at least for a few hours more than I am my own. But actually from quite a few reasons Vaderkin here is a fairly good match to Marc and both of Marc's alters. He's very much the tank of fighters and does a lot of sparring including - mostly on its own at this point but including -making a sparring bot essentially, he's used to infodumping by an Aphra and he actually is very into history because that's his huge weakness as a Sith: gaining knowledge, and yeah he's completely a gearhead and working on making his own speeder and swoop bike so just saying.

Working nights sound awesome for somebody who stays up until 3AM most nights anyway....

I'm sure we can throw at least one of the boys at Vader next time there's an open thing :3 Steven will badly want to poke at his mask... all the buttons on his chestpiece... he knows better because that's very rude but he wants to.

Steven has decided he's not into sparring but Marc is game for that one.

Yeah I'm generally up till 4:00-5:30 am anyway.

Vader's getting some medical treatment so he's not in the life support suit but he is in the mask.

Also question: do you think Vader would be able to sense Marc vs Stephen vs Jake?

I've been going with if they're active/co-conscious, then yes he could tell there's two "people" there, but if they're dormant/off in headspace, then no.

Haha honestly... it's pretty obvious even without magical senses. Jake is very good at pretending to be the other two, maybe, but Steven is TERRIBLE at pretending to be Marc and Marc only sort of manages Steven.

But yeah, they have very clear mental patterns and senses of self, so he could easily tell that this fellow who introduced himself as Marc does not feel like Marc when Steven is fronting.

Oh wow I did not in fact know that. Though he does have his helmet still, you said? Or is helmet different from mask in this case?

Yes he has it, the mask is the front plate. So the tusks up without the dome/cowl part. It's held on with straps so it can come off.

And yep he would. Because I'm mean to him that has happened in game for hours.

Link is very good at listening to people infodump, so perhaps that will lead to some future friendship?

Could also be interesting to have Link meet Marc sometime, though I must admit I have no idea how Link will react to that (or even if he will like...realise what is happening? It is entirely possible that he will think that Steven is just Sometimes Really Weird, for Mysterious Reasons)

I would find it very amusing if Link didn't actually realize what was going on and just thought Steven was Being Really Weird, actually.

Haha well, we could always assume that said infodumping happens 'off screen'. Or every then we could just go, 'And then Steven rambled on about Topic X for another 20 minutes, while Link sat there and nodded' XD

I'm not sure I have anything helpful to add, but I just wanted to shake my fist at you for the fact that my brain launches into the entire English Sailor Moon theme almost every time I see that handle.

Sometimes I only get a snippet, but often it's the full thing.

Then I am triumphant :3 Honestly that's exactly why I picked the name, it puts the song in my head, too. The pun came to me and all my friends told me I had to do it. I worry sometimes that it's just too silly, but I love it too much to change it now.

If it makes you feel better I have an ancient (as in I made it maybe 2 weeks after the first Avengers movie hit theaters) Black Widow journal that's simply Tashalicious. And the keywords are just Fergalicious, but with the lyrics changed.

If you can't be silly in your pretendy fun times where can you be silly, I say!
