About Me: Canadian, 20-something living a work from home life. I play more D&D than I should, and I watch a mix of various live-action and animated shows (including but not limited to MCU, Star Wars, Doctor Who, Mythic Quest, Bee and Puppycat). I love plotting dumb things but also equally serious things!

Canon Point: S10, Episode 12 - The Doctor Falls, after blowing up the Mondasian Cyberman ship
Age: Old. So old. (2000+)
Planetary Alignment: Heba
About My Character: Cranky/grumpy/blunt, sometimes socially awkward renegade Time Lord who really does have the biggest hearts that anyone could fathom. A big kooky nerd, that loves history, mythology, time travel and a nose for trouble underneath the exterior he puts up. Grumpier than usual and perhaps not as willing to help as much when it comes to the war considering his canon point. He's without a TARDIS but slowly building up a sonic screwdriver collection! Also, he's still chipped and likely will be for the next little while.
Tethering Information/Requests: Not currently tethered but has plans to tether with Obi-Wan and eventually, Clara (see Cloude's note cause she put it so nicely). He's reluctant to tether with more people because he doesn't want to lose anyone else but that'll change with time and he would likely change his mind if someone was in need of a tether.
CR I'm Looking For:
I'm really open to anything since he's new, but here's some specifics that may or may not make sense with an end of the week brain...
- CR willing to put up with some of his odd tendencies/actually don't mind his odd tendencies
- CR with build-y, tinkering folks! He's already started pilfering parts and is putting together a rough prototype of a sonic screwdriver. He might put together a ship if he can.
- Bickering-type CR because he's bound to rub some folks the wrong way but this doesn't necessarily have to be negative CR (although I'm open to it if it veers that direction).
- If anyone playing a kid (teenagers also technically fall into this category) would like an old granddad/weird uncle/father figure the Doctor canonically tends to get along well with them so that's another fun avenue we could explore.
Plots I'm Looking For:
- While he's chipped, the Doctor has access to flawless restoration. I'd love for him to use it before/after/during future missions since it has a fair bit of utility so feel free to loop him in if you need a Doctor who isn't actually a doctor.
- Dipping the Doctor's toes into stealth missions (even if it's reluctantly at first); throw him head first into tech related things or even things he's not very good at (like speaking to people).
- Following on the above, partnering up with someone who can play off his strengths or create more chaos and hilarity because I'm a sucker for it.
- Learning more about the Broken Worlds, its magic, history, and peoples! What else do you expect from a stranded Doctor in a world he isn't familiar with?
Character Arc Ideas:
- Coming back around to helping people in need and getting a little more involved with the missions but on his terms (ie. ideally with no or minimal loss of life or contributing by making tech that will help people).
- Deciding on whether or not to keep his chip.
- Settling in by setting up a shop for work and/or taking up as a teacher in one of the local schools just to keep things fresh.

But also hi! I have a teenager. With hilarious 'I have a history with people named Doctor. the last one did things to my genetics and bossed me around a lot' shenanigans which is honestly kind of amusing considering.

Queue Heero debating if this Doctor can make him a mobile suit then. All the other ones could.
(Coincidentally Heero's pretty handy around tech as well. So it works for a variety of reasons.)

Honestly the Doctor would absolutely take on the challenge of building a mobile suit but he'd have to do a fair bit of convincing knowing what the mobile suits are capable of. I could also see him punking Heero and making him basically a gunpla version of his Gundam suit ajksdhf

That could totally be a fun thing then - I took a quick peek at your mission post for Heero and the Doctor could (try) and attempt to be an impulse control to stop him from killing anyone???

Killing people is literally part of the mission, he's going to be very unimpressed and wanting to know why he's trying to actively sabotage their efforts. It'd be a mess. :D

...more seriously though, it'd definitely be great to keep threading with the Doctor and Link and see where that CR goes. And Link does kinda fit in the 'teenager' category too (even if he's technically over 100, and will state that as his age)

Haha yeah, awkwardness all around here! Honestly Link has very little remembered experience of like, social norms and living in a society. He doesn't have a great concept of 'normal', so he tends to just roll with other people's weirdness.
