I would love for them to have some philosophical conversations. One of the great things about his canon point is he's no longer blind to the faults in the Order, but he's also not sure how to feel about things. It would be helpful to talk with someone who knows what it is to be a Jedi, but is so far removed from the Order as Obi-Wan knows it as to have a genuinely fresh (for him) perspective.

I'll also do a little digging. I don't know if you've read Master and Apprentice, but one of the items in Disney canon is that Qui-Gon had Obi-Wan doing ALL sort of historic research. So I don't think it is a stretch to assume he may have come across those legends, while looking things up for Qui-Gon. But I am also good with saying he never did. ;) Whatever works.
