Mission: Success
Judging by submissions, every part of the mission was successfully covered. The lab was infiltrated and fully mapped out, the computer was downloaded and sabotaged, and the supply chain to the lab was fully disrupted. Excellent job!
The Aftermath
In the wake of the successful mission, the Sylphid have retreated fully from the lab to lick their wounds. Operatives inside the city have reported that the Sylphid were not expecting such a direct attack on the lab, and it has caused them to second-guess placing such labs outside of Sylphid-controlled territory in the future. Additionally, the virus that was planted in the computer system made its way through Sylphid systems and has wiped out backups and partially corrupted the data of multiple other projects besides simply destroying all information on the serum and all associated backups.
Back to the drawing board, Sylphid!
Operatives inside the city also reported that multiple large businesses in the city are no longer willing to do business with the Sylphid research branch, after having lost so many trucks and personnel in the attack on the lab. Drivers were also reprimanded for taking routes through civilian areas, and those communities will be safer with fewer large Sylphid-driven trucks barreling through at all hours of the day.
As mentioned, the Sylphid were simply not expecting so direct an attack, and they are now aware that the new extra-universal arrivals are a big asset to the rebellion. They're starting to think these extra-universal arrivals may be a big asset to the Sylphid as well. Additionally, they are making plans to conduct a more direct strike on the rebellion in the near future, in retaliation...
